Recent Advances in Proteomics Applications
Proteomics research, since it’s advent, has played a crucial role in providing answers to many fundamental questions in biology. The last decade has seen various amazing advances in mass spectrometry-based proteomics technology as well as ever-expanding use of the MS technology for varied biological applications. The use of nanotechnology in conjugation to proteomics, the development of florescence activated cell sorting coupled to mass spectrometry, SWATH-MS and many more such advances in the field of proteomics have emerged in the recent decades. In this theme, experts will present recent advances in proteomics technologies and the potential of its applications to answer key questions in cell biology research.
